Ingredients

  • 4 lobster tails fresh or thawed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 3 –4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
Optional:
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper

Method

  1. Butterfly: Use kitchen shears to cut the top shell. Loosen meat and lift it to rest on top of the shell.
  2. Sauce: Whisk melted butter, garlic, lemon, parsley, and spices. Reserve half for dipping.
  3. Broil: Preheat broiler on High. Place tails on a tray, brush with sauce, and broil 6 inches from heat for 8–10 minutes until meat is opaque and reaches 145°F.
  4. Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with reserved butter and lemon wedges.

Notes

  • The Golden Rule: Always ensure your lobster is fully thawed before cooking to prevent rubbery meat.
  • Visual Guide: Refer to image_0f9e1d.png for the ideal color and texture—the meat should be white and opaque with a light golden char on the edges.
  • Mediterranean Twist: For a deeper aromatic profile, add 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano to the butter mixture.
  • Tip: Pair this dish with our Saffron Rice or a fresh Greek Chickpea Salad for a complete Mediterranean feast.
