Method
- Prep: Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Slice cauliflower into 1-inch thick steaks, keeping the core intact.
- Season: Place on a baking sheet. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Roast: Bake for 15 minutes, flip, and bake for another 15–20 minutes until tender.
- Top: Spread marinara and cheeses over each steak.
- Broil: Broil for 3–5 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly. Garnish and serve.
Notes
For the best results, use a heavy-duty rimmed baking sheet which helps conduct heat for better browning. If you have leftovers, they make a fantastic filling for a Mediterranean-style wrap the next day!
