Ingredients
  

Protein:
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast cubed.
Vegetables:
  • 3 cups broccoli florets.
Oil:
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil divided.
Sauce:
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp tamari
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 3 cloves garlic minced,
  • 1 tsp ginger minced,
  • 1/4 cup broth
  • 1 tbsp arrowroot powder.
Garnish:
  • Sesame seeds
  • red pepper flakes
  • fresh parsley.

Method
 

  1. Whisk Sauce: Combine honey, lemon, tamari, mustard, paprika, garlic, and ginger. Mix arrowroot into broth and add to sauce.
  2. Steam Broccoli: Sauté broccoli in 1 tbsp oil with water for 2 mins. Remove.
  3. Sear Chicken: Cook chicken in remaining oil for 5–7 mins.
  4. Glaze: Return broccoli to pan, add sauce, and stir until thick (1–2 mins).
  5. Serve: Garnish and enjoy!

Notes

  • Swap Tamari for Coconut Aminos for a soy-free version.
  • Ensure the pan is very hot before adding chicken to get a golden sear.
  • Serve over quinoa or brown rice to soak up the extra sauce.
