Method
- Mix patty ingredients gently and form 4 oval steaks.
- Sear in olive oil for 4 mins per side; remove.
- Sauté onions and mushrooms in the same pan.
- Stir in flour, then slowly whisk in broth, Worcestershire, and mustard.
- Return patties to gravy, cover, and simmer for 10 mins.
Notes
For the juiciest results, use a 90/10 lean beef blend. If the gravy thickens too much while simmering, whisk in an additional tablespoon of beef broth to reach your desired consistency.
