Ingredients
Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Brush a standard 12-cup muffin tin generously with 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground meat, minced garlic, oregano, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook 5-7 minutes until fully browned.
- Drain fat, stir in marinara sauce, and simmer over low heat for 2-3 minutes.
- In a small bowl, stir together ricotta cheese and crumbled feta cheese.
- Press 1 wonton wrapper into the bottom of each muffin cup. Add 1 tsp ricotta mix, 1 tbsp meat sauce, and a sprinkle of mozzarella.
- Press a 2nd wonton wrapper firmly on top, rotating it at a 45-degree angle.
- Repeat layers with remaining ricotta mix, meat sauce, mozzarella, and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until wonton edges are golden and crispy and cheese is melted and bubbling.
- Rest in pan for 5 minutes, unmold with a butter knife, garnish with fresh basil, and serve warm.
Notes
